What is Stop & Shop GO Rewards®?

Stop & Shop GO Rewards® is an added, digital layer to our Stop & Shop Card program.  GO Rewards offers additional benefits that can only be accessed through the Stop & Shop app or www.stopandshop.com.

 

With Stop & Shop GO Rewards® you can earn 1 GO Point™ for every dollar spent on in-store and online purchases. You can earn additional points with exclusive, personalized offers available in your online account as well as bonus offers in the weekly circular (which will also be found on shelf tags and on product tiles when shopping online). Traditional Stop & Shop Card holders do not receive these amazing offers and additional savings.

 

You can still redeem your points for gas savings and now, you may also choose to redeem points for Grocery Dollars, Charity Donation, or Special Offers.

 

How can I redeem for grocery savings?

You will have the flexibility to designate points to a variety of rewards within an account. You can choose gas savings, grocery savings, points donation, or a combination of all three. Your account can also help with your everyday shopping — start a shopping list or access other digital coupons that you can load directly to your Stop & Shop Card. This will save you even more every time you shop, locate products in-store, order deli items ahead, and much more!

 

How do I sign up for an account?

You don't need a new Stop & Shop Card! Link your current Stop & Shop Card number easily in the Stop & Shop app or at www.stopandshop.com. If you do not know your Stop & Shop Card number, please visit Customer Service or contact Consumer Affairs at 1-800-767-7772. If you do not have a card, a digital one will be assigned to you when you create your online account.

 

Do I need a new Stop & Shop Card to participate in Stop & Shop GO Rewards®?

No. Your Stop & Shop Card (or ALT-ID/phone number) will still work at the register and the gas pump. There’s no need for a new card. However, you DO need to register in the Stop & Shop app or at www.stopandshop.com for an online account to receive the additional benefits and savings GO Rewards offers. 

 

What if I create my online account and don’t see points for a purchase I made in the past month?

Please visit Customer Service in your local store and an associate can help load points onto your card, with receipt.

 

How do I earn points in the Stop & Shop GO Rewards® program?

Earn 1 GO Point™ per dollar spent on groceries at Stop & Shop (some exclusions apply), in-store or online. Additionally, customers can earn bonus points with exclusive offers that are available in their online account. These are personalized for you and based on what you already buy—and love. New offers to earn bonus points are delivered each Thursday. These can also be delivered right to your E-Mail inbox, if desired. Remember, these offers are only available if you have an online account through the Stop & Shop app or at www.stopandshop.com.

 

Can I still redeem points for gas savings with Stop & Shop GO Rewards®?

Yes. Your points can still be redeemed at Stop & Shop gas stations and participating Shell gas stations. Every 100 GO Points™ can be redeemed for a discount of 10¢ per gallon (maximum of $1.50 off per gallon for up to 20 gallons).

 

However, once you are part of GO Rewards, you will have to designate your points between gas and grocery discounts through your online account. If you choose gas discounts, you must do this before going to the pump. If you choose grocery discounts, you must do this before shopping.

 

Do I have to designate my points EVERY time I want to redeem them?

Yes. The reason you have to designate your points each time is because most of our shoppers enjoy alternating between savings on grocery and savings on gas. Designating the points each time keeps you in control of where your points are being spent. For example, if you have 400 GO Points™, you can choose to designate 200 to grocery savings for $2 off and 200 to gas savings for  20¢ off per gallon!

 

How do I redeem my points?

After earning points, you will need to access your online account and designate your points toward Gas Savings, Grocery Savings or Special Rewards (Points Donation). Your savings will be added directly to your Stop & Shop Card and will be redeemed during your next shopping trip or visit to a participating gas station.

 

When do points expire?

After you earn GO Points, you have until the end of the following month to choose to use them for gas or grocery savings. Then, you have until the end of the next month after that to redeem them.

 

For example, if you earned 100 points on March 15, you would have until April 30 to choose your rewards and until May 31 to redeem them. Unused points expire and are non-refundable. Points redeemed for special offers expire on the published date in the offer details.​

How do I get my Stop & Shop GO Rewards® personalized bonus offers?

To receive your bonus offers, just visit "Rewards" within the Stop & Shop app or "GO Rewards" at www.stopandshop.com. When you tap or click "Earn Points" you'll see your bonus offers.  Just by viewing this page, you will automatically activate your Earn Offers and you will automatically earn the points associated with these offers as you fulfill the requirements, prior to offer expiration dates.

 

If I designate points for grocery dollars but change my mind, can I re-designate them for what I want?

No, once points are designated, they must be redeemed in that category. Make sure you’re sending your points where you want them. A pop-up confirmation will appear before points are designated.

 

What if I don't have a smartphone or access to the website?

Anyone can still enjoy in-store sale pricing with a Stop & Shop Card. To enjoy Stop & Shop GO Rewards®, you must use a device.

 

Can customers still use digital coupons with Stop & Shop GO Rewards®?

Yes! In fact, we encourage customers to continue to visit the Digital Coupon Gallery to take advantage of the additional savings available in combination with Stop & Shop GO Rewards®. These coupons can be found under the "Savings" section at and in the "Coupons" tab. Coupons load directly to your Stop & Shop Card and will be redeemed in your next transaction, prior to expiration.

 

How long does it take for my points to appear? How long does it take after designating points in the app or online for them to be available for redemption++?

Most points are available in your online GO Points™ gallery soon after checkout. Certain bonus offer promotions and online orders for pick-up or delivery may take longer. All points from a transaction will be available in your gallery within 24 hours. Once points are designated in the app or online to either groceries or gas, those savings should be available within a matter of minutes, however we ask that you designate grocery points before beginning your trip to prevent any issues.

 

How can I access a digital version of my card?

Once you're signed into the Stop & Shop app, your Stop & Shop Card will always be accessible in the top left corner of the mobile app. Simply tap the card icon to scan your card in store and instantly apply your redeemed GO Points™ and clipped digital coupons. Scanning your card also ensures you are earning GO Points™ with every purchase as well as bonus points on your special offers. You can also load your Stop & Shop card directly to your Apple or Android wallet from this page. Lastly, you can always choose to use your ALT-ID (phone number) at checkout in place of a physical or digital Stop & Shop Card.

You can download directly in the App store.
