Where can I pick up my order?

You can pick up your order from the department listed in your order confirmation. After you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation as well as a confirmation e-mail listing the pickup information as well as pickup hours if applicable.

How will I receive my receipt for my online order?

Every new Stop and Shop Delivery & Pickup customer is automatically signed up to receive electronic receipts. If you also would like to receive a paper copy of your receipt with your order, you can indicate this preference in my account.

How do you ensure the product quality for online orders?

We stock only the highest-quality meat and produce available, which we hand-pick and pack just for you. Our Produce Specialists are trained to use their senses - sight, touch and smell - to choose only the freshest produce. Before an order leaves for Delivery or Pickup, it's often checked by our Quality Control Specialist for accuracy and proper packaging.

You'll be amazed and delighted at the selection and quality of the thousands of products we offer. You'll find restaurant-quality meats, the freshest seafood and produce picked daily. We carry all your favorite national brands, plus a full line of private label products to help save you money. Our selection also includes household necessities, pet supplies, and health and beauty care items.

Your complete satisfaction is our number one goal. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a product in your order, please call our If you are missing a product which is not noted as out of stock, you have 48 hours from the time of delivery to notify Stop & Shop Customer Care for a full refund. This is not applicable to alcoholic beverage products - the driver must be notified at the time of delivery.

What if a product I choose for my online order is Out of Stock?

Occasionally, a product you order online may be out of stock and, in most cases, we will automatically substitute with a similar item. If you elect to receive substitutions for products ordered online for delivery or pickup and your original product choice had a GO Points™ offer, we reserve the right to substitute a product that does not have a GO Points offer available. In this case, you will not receive GO Points for your substituted product purchase.

While we make every attempt to substitute like for like items, ingredients can often vary. Please check the substituted item carefully for any allergy concerns. If the item does not meet your expectations, please call Customer Care team at 1-800-767-7772 and we will gladly refund the purchase price.

How long is the pricing of an item online valid?

Prices for items you place in your online cart will be guaranteed as long as your order is submitted prior to the sale price expiration date and delivered (or picked up by you at a designated pickup location) within 7 calendar days from the day you originally placed your order. After 7 days, prices will be adjusted to reflect current prices. The dates for current advertised sale prices can be found on the Specials page.

Prices and totals listed online, and on email confirmations, are estimated and do not include any applicable bottle deposits or bottle taxes and are subject to change due to actual weights, taxes and availability.

How do I find the Country of Origin for products online?

Certain products must comply with country of origin labeling (COOL) requirements. Those products include beef, lamb, pork, fish, perishable agricultural commodities such as fruits and vegetables, and peanuts, ginseng, pecans and macadamia nuts and coffee. To determine the country of origin of these products, view the item detail. If there are multiple countries of origin possible for a certain product, then each country will be listed in the item detail. Upon receipt of the item, most packaging will reflect the specific country.
